Methode Cap Classique
Cravate 2009

A fresher style of Methode Cap Classique with citrus and biscuit flavors. It shows undertones of classical Methode Cape Classique characters on the palate. Cravate (French) is the synonymn for Cravat and is hypothetical of the respect for the Methode Cap Classique tradition.
Dry White Wine
Sauvignon Blanc 2011

Only the free fun was used and racking took place as soon as possible after destemining. Fermentation took place in stainless steel tanks till dry. The result is a well structured, dry white varietal wine. The long, cool aftertaste is in perfect harmony with distinct, fresh herbaceous aroma of this noble grape variety.
Chardonnay 2010

A lively wine with citrus and lime freshness and hints of caramel. Glossy with gold hints and lingering oak finish. Enjoy with fried fish, creamy chicken and tender veal medallions.

Chenin Blanc 2011

Beautiful guava and melon aroma. A pleasant, easy drinking dry wine with a very fruity taste and sweat aftertaste. Enjoy with braaied snoek, smoked chicken salad or a tender Wiener schnitzel.
Semi-sweet White Wine
Pettilant Fronté (Perlé) 2011

Pettilant Fronté gives you flavour and taste in abundance, without the high alcohol’s and kilojoules of the average table wine. Thus can be enjoyed in moderate quantities as part of any healthy lifestyle or weight watching program. The freshness of the wine makes it a perfect daytime drink.
Pettilant Rosé (Perlé)

The total free run was used. After settling of the juice overnight it was inoculate with white wine yeast. The fermentation was stopped through centrifuging and cooling down. The result is a fresh fruity wine. It has a lot of strawberry and raspberry flavour that linger on the tongue. It was impregnated with carbon-dioxide at bottling which give the wine a fizziness that enchant the aroma as well as the flavours in the wine.
Red Wine
Dry Red 2010

This is a slightly fruity, dry red blended wine. Although very drinkable during it’s youth, it still has potential for further maturation. Enjoy with pasta or mildly spiced food. Will also complement most Italian style pizzas.
Pinotage 2009

A graceful wine with flavours of ripe red berries and touches of smoke and violets. Rich with a long finish characterised by firm tannins. Enjoy with potroast brisket or a potjie with rump and mushrooms.
Shiraz 2010

An attractive with with spice on the nose and rich ripe berry flavours. An appealing palate with a lingering aftertaste.
Cabernet Sauvignon 2010

A full-bodied wine with chocolate and nutty flavours. Rich toasty oak on the palate.
Sweet Wine
White Muscadel 2009

This fortified wine was produced from hand picked sunripen grapes. The strong raisiny flavours blend perfectly with the well known muscat of the grape variety. This is a perfect dessert wine and will warm many cold winter nights.

Ruby Port 2008

This deeply coloured red dessert wine was produced from full ripened grapes. The strong aromatic flavours of coffee and chocolate makes it an ideal companion to strong flavoured cheeses.

Cape Vintage Port 2008

This dark coloured wine, oak aged for 12 months was made from fully ripened grapes, picked by hand and fortified half way through fermentation. The result is a rich, traditional wine with hints of raisin, coffee and mocca flavours.
Hanepoot

This honey colored dessert wine is produced from fully ripened grapes. After a 24 hour skin contact period, the pomace was drained and pressed. A portion of the pressed juice was added to the free run before fortification. The wine was matured on the lease before it was racked and filtered. The wine show a muscat flavor that is enhanced by the full raisiny taste.
